Apple's Clean Energy Charging in iOS 16.1

This weirdly opens the Twitter app on my iPhone but won’t load the tweet directly. It loads in the in-app browser. Tapping the normal “better in the app” link just briefly shows a loading animation then remains in the fake browser UI.

I copied the link from the desktop Twitter web site. Maybe iPhone app has different link address/structure?

Yeah something about the linked URL isn’t redirecting correctly. I don’t know why it was so hard to get at, but here’s the ”canonical” link (if such a thing exists): https://twitter.com/thechiefnerd/status/1629863655478050816 https://twitter.com/thechiefnerd/status/1629863655478050816

Thank you for posting canonical link. I see that the link I submitted has /web/ in it. So it must be the web-specific URL. I did not notice this before. Interesting. Maybe the admins can change the link to the above?

  > With it turned on, iOS will only recharge the iPhone's battery when the electrical grid uses cleaner energy sources like solar or wind I do not know what is worse: that Apple says such things or that people believe them ?
