At least for backspace, Colemak puts it where caps lock is.
- eviks 4y agoBut it's a pinky lateral stretch, maybe AltGr+H (win/qwerty) that use your much stronger thumb+index fingers and also allow to put Delete conveniently close is better? What would the algo say? Maybe it's also not great since it's a lateral stretch, so a better alternative would be something else where you lift your fingers?
