I personally think there's a difference between saying "I have qualms with this app" and questioning its usefulness as an app as well as its viability as a business (Dropbox comment) and someone offering an alternative/simpler way to achieve a cool result in a blog post (parent comment). The latter is useful for folks hoping to replicate the results (for instance, I now know I can use FAISS instead of having to go sign up for pinecone). OP seems to feel the same, they replied to parent.
