- twangist 4y agoYes,*and* its harmonics, which would have to be replaced as well if they're detectably present. Swapping hums isn't trivial.
- SteveDR 4y agoIf the goal is just to obfuscate the hum, couldn’t you just scramble it instead of “subtracting”? Especially if you’re not trying to replace the hum
- justinclift 4y agoWouldn't something like Nvidia's noise cancellation tech (as commonly used by podcasters, etc) remove the original hum well enough? eg ready for new "fake continuos hum" to then be applied
