Nothing screams "worth your time" like having the literal phrase "this is going to work", as JSON, on the splash page for a social network... /s Give me a break, nobody's parents are going to use this, nobody's going to explain this at their 9-5, at their kid's dance recital, at the cleaner's, etc. It has exactly zero chance of organic adoption for organic social interactions. The social media era is close to ending, imo. I think the monoculture will give way to the absence of the culture entirely. The always-online mentality is actively destroying the wellness and mental health of young people, who are flocking to casual apps like TikTok and Snapchat from hellscapes like Facebook and Instagram, because they just want to have fun and post silly shit.
