Fake headline, he wasn't arrested for saying that.
Article details: he was suspended for saying that, would be allowed to return if he recanted, then went back to school anyway without recanting, the school was Catholic but publicly funded, he was arrested for trespassing for returning without permission.
I'm not commenting at all on the political aspects, but fake headlines are inappropriate at HN.
- runsWphotons 4y agoThis does not seem to make it less outrageous to me.
- catchnear4321 4y agoCalling the headline misleading isn’t calling the situation fine. Misleading headlines can derail opportunities to have a conversation about the actual cause of outrage, especially when reading a headline may be all that some do. A misleading headline can lead to excessive outrage, which may make any efforts at discourse impossible.
- bitlax 4y agoCalling it fake is misleading. This is the kind of Wikipedian pedantry that actually serves to stifle necessary discussions.
