I understand the impulse, but punishing people for having the “wrong” opinion is despotism.
- avidiax 4y agoThis is not a punishment so much as saying that a captain should go down with his ship, or that someone that's made their bed should now lie in it.
- jen20 4y agoIt’s not a punishment: it’s simply reaping the benefits of the promised sunlit uplands, after he removed the ability of so many others to move.
