I wasn't laid off, but I quit about a month ago. I have a few ideas. None are really monetizable, but I want to do them, so I am. Once I get them out of my system I'll probably go back to being an employee. I think if you are interested in making something, you should make it. If you are interested in making money, then look for a job.
