It would be a big boost to the city both economically and culturally if more people went back to offices. That said, he’s not going to make it happen by guilt or shaming people for staying in their PJs.
The city need to do more to help landlords and business owners court workers back to office spaces. Revitalizing areas like midtown and FiDi would be a start. Also tax breaks for people who rent in coworking spaces or credits to rehabbing office space to match post COVID preferences would all be more impactful.

Ya guess who's doing better now? my local coffee shop and my local lunch place, and my health. No one wants to admit that creativity and productivity has thrived perfectly fine remotely. Dragging ppl back just for "the city" to make some money seems ridiculously wrong to me
