At least back in the 90s, typical blocks for four 45+45 minute lectures a day were: Before lunch: 08.15-09.00, 09.15-10.00 10.15-11.00, 11.15-12.00 After lunch: 13.15-14.00, 14.15-15.00 15.15-16.00, 16.15-17.00 There was a whole lot of shuffling around to get coffee/coke/pepsi and some sweets during those 15-minute breaks.
