You can do a paid non-compete, which is basically X years garden leave w/ pay. Many finance / trading firms do this.

- nuclearnice3 4y agoAs far as I can tell, the regulation would ban all non-competes paid or unpaid. They do specifically request comments on how to handle highly paid or highly skilled workers.
