I first played the NES version and I still fire it up in an emulator from time to time. I still enjoy the variety of the gameplay: attacking and defending castles, raiding, rescuing the princess, and of course jousting. It would be great for a modern game to give more depth to it. Maybe add some tower defense like elements for building up castles or something.
