Like inheritance, if somebody dies without family, why do things like this not go to the state?
Things such as estate and taxes do.
Having a 747 for state dignitaries etc would be quite useful without costing the tax payer.
- boeingUH60 4y agoThis was bought by the former Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (now late)...was listed for sale by his heirs but didn't find any buyer, so they likely decided to eat their loss and sell the engines and other parts for scrap.
