Teenagers are learning more about sex from TikTok than they are at school
- hunglee2 4y agothat's....about right I would say. Sex ed at school is unlikely to 'land' simply because it is coming from another generation. Education of this type needs to come from experienced team leads

- bell-cot 4y agoNote that the survey (which found "Teenager are leaning more...") was done in the UK. I wouldn't be surprised if the same was true in the US. But in the US (I don't know about the UK), Sex Ed. in public schools is often a very divisive political issue. If a US School Board decided that they would offer no Sex Ed. whatever, because they didn't want their regular public meetings to be no-mans-lands in the Culture Wars - I would not blame them in the least.
