- jschveibinz 4y agoOk, but using an AI created image as a basis (example) for a slightly-different-and-derivative work of art must be protected by copyright law. There is plenty of legal precedence for this kind of work.
- whythre 4y agoThat the derivative works ‘must be’ protected by copyright isn’t obvious. Hell, it might help fix a lot of the idiotic spam. All the low effort ‘artists’ and ‘authors’ wouldn’t be rewarded for their middling efforts in making a few alterations to AI generated works.
