- 1letterunixname 4y agoIn general, when purchasing something for billions, a rational agent would want it to keep working and improve thoroughly and holistically. Destroying things isn't creative chaos, it's organizational entropy and decline. Musk could be even more successful that he is if we more mature and shrewder rather than putting megalomania first. These are, unfortunately, his leadership and business personality shortcomings on display that destroy brand goodwill, employee morale, and overall respect. It's an organizational equivalent of the grizzled drunken uncle spoiling the family holiday and kicking the Christmas tree on their way out.
- Zigurd 4y agoLBOs frequently fail when done by professionals. On top of that, Twitter is now a really huge, dubiously financed, chaotically operated LBO by a first-timer who has to run it hands-on because nobody would take the job, and the blame. At the price of a crippled Twitter, we now know who Elon really is.
- temp2022account 4y agoI mean Twitter is just a blog site, it's not hugely important to the world at large like TV news stations or radios. Let the megalomaniac in the corner have fun with his rockets and electric cars and bird-themed trading cards, Elon certainly isn't causing harm to anyone or anyone else's property.
