Ask HN: Best SF areas to spend 10 days visiting while working remotely?
I will be in SF for about 10 days ahead of a meditation retreat in June. During that time, I will be working remotely, and my partner will be with me.
I visited the Bay Area extensively before the pandemic, but never while working, and they only visited once.
What are some favorite areas by people on HN that offer good transportation, quiet public cafés or areas to work during the day, and nice walks/food/social at night?
- marymkearney 4y agoWould this be neighborhoods in San Francisco itself? Or walkable-ish nearby areas like Palo Alto or Santa Cruz? Car / no car?
- smnrg 4y agoI was considering inside SF. In the past, I spent time in Soma and Haight :) Maybe a car for a day or two to go around, either driver to Carmel and spend the night there or Monterey—or go watch the Bay Area at night from a bridge?
