      "We've removed your card. We're still processing any pending payments on it." It sounds like they've removed my card from the UI, but they can still charge it if they want. In any case, I'm going to close my PayPal account and hopefully cancel that card within a few weeks.

  Not your keys, not your coins. The government can do this with your bank accounts too.
