How does that square with the algorithms used to render the 3D models humans construct and rig? I think the "rendering" analogy is quite apt once you're past the point of initial generation and off to painting, editing, and roundtripping. And it might not even need to be taken that far... could an argument be made that this technology is simply a rendering engine for text?
