- steponlego 4y agoLook up the Phenol crisis, and it's easy - companies are at war with Russia today.
- LatteLazy 4y agoAll the Phenol results are about the (2000s) US opioid epidemic (except one which is about Phenol free cigarettes in the 1960s...). I can't find a Phenol Crisis pre WW1. The general history of Phenol makes no mention of Bayer either. The only application was by Lister as an antiseptic.
