Robots to do 39% of domestic chores by 2033, say experts
- jimbobotron 4y agoIt looks like the 39% number is just the non-weighted average across 17 categories of chores https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article/figure?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0281282.t002 https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article/figure?id=10.1371/.... So saying "39 percent of the time that people currently spend on a given unpaid domestic work task could be automated within the next ten years" is only true if one spends an equal amount of time currently on each task, which is obviously not true...
