So crazy because Miami is going to be consistently underwater in as short as 20 years
- nocsi 4y agoWhat about Arizona?
- tcmart14 4y agoProbably out of water. Florida and Arizona may have problems that are the exact opposite of the other. Florida, too much water, Arizona too little water.
- lotsoweiners 4y agoYou’re right it has rained a lot here in the last 2 weeks but I don’t think we’ll be underwater just yet.

- harambae 4y agoCME has a (thinly traded) futures market for Miami real estate predictions https://futures.tradingcharts.com/marketquotes/I5.html https://futures.tradingcharts.com/marketquotes/I5.html 5 years out it's expected to be 10% higher. If you know something they don't there's an opportunity for easy money.
- breakpointalpha 4y agoIn my opinion, there's too much real estate value locked up in Florida's coastline to allow rising sea levels. Flood control in the Netherlands goes back to at least 325 BCE. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flood_control_in_the_Netherlands https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flood_control_in_the_Netherlan... I'm not saying that Miami will last for thousands of years from now, but I would bet money that they have a few generations at least.
