Flesh and Page: The laborious process of making parchment
- wessorh 4y agothis article complains about the vagueness of many descriptions of making parchment and forget the context of the middle ages where just about everyone knew how to skin an animal. The more skilled knew how to remove hair from a skin. Ignoring what must have been common knowledge back then for vague or incomplete descriptions leaves me with little joy or love for this work.
