> Because Facebook does internal studies to figure out that this is harmful for society, and it continues to do these things regardless. from a business perspective, if Facebook decided to shut its doors tomorrow from a moral/ethical standpoint, wouldn't somebody else just fill the gap? There's clearly a "need" for this kind of platform in society from a capitalism standpoint.
