- atonse 4y agoI have to imagine that _any_ service that is providing CPU/compute (even if it is for building things) can be abused by cryptominers, hence the additional verification.
- jacobwg 4y agoHey! This is cryptominer protection - we used to have an option to access a trial without a credit card, and the cryptominers did indeed sign up. :) Requiring a credit card for the free tier is a speed bump for that, on the free plan it subscribes you to a $0 product in Stripe.
