There was no iTunes music store at that time. Apple was advertising how fast iTunes could rip music from a CD and in my experience it was definitely optimised for that.
- newsclues 4y agoYes. They made it easy to add your existing collection to digital, and also import a library from the friendly pirates. Then they made it easy to buy new music, after people were in the ecosystem.
