I didn't try the first cocktail, just the second, but my first attempt at making it was a little sweeter than I wanted. I picked up fresh supplies, yesterday, including some sake, so will be trying that soon to see how it ends up. I will note that the sweetness level is entirely personal, I don't tend to like to eat/drink overly sweet things.
