- entropyie 4y agoI've seen similar impact going from Python to Golang, with less runtime errors/bugs to boot...
- sacnoradhq 4y agoDid you miss out on the hype era of functional programming? There was also less code, less bugs, and 0.01% of the talent pool.
- entropyie 4y agoI see quite a bit of golang talent out there actually, and crucially, golang is a quite "simple" small language to learn. At least enough to be productive... I picked it up in a couple of weeks. We transitioned many folks off python or node in short order.
