Tomtom Announces a Historic Change for All Navigation Apps
- cratermoon 4y agoThere's a spot near me where Google maps navigation would send people on a left turn down a block and then right on an unpaved road for a block to avoid a traffic light. The 'shortcut' let out on a busy two-lane street with poor sightlines where making the left turn was dicey at best. Eventually the city put up permanent traffic barriers to prevent the left turn, and the people living on that street rejoiced.
