As pretty as it is, this is not a page that should transfer 116.28 MB of data while I'm on it.
- camillomiller 4y agoIt takes a good two minutes to show anything on a mobile phone. Considering most of it could be done with CSS, I don't get what's the need for such a gigantic payload. Moreover, I find it very hard to navigate. Not a fan.
- creata 4y agoThe payload consists mostly of a lot of absurdly high-resolution images (that are very small on-screen).
- Okawari 4y agoYou're right, but as one who thinks we've kinda optimized the fun out of the internet over the last years I can't really fault it for being suboptimal. While I don't want all webpages to be like this, I like that this was made, rather than the developer thinking "this seems too much of a hassle to make efficiently, so I'm not going to do it".
