- skeeter2020 4y agooh god no, you can't actually bounce _this_ version. This is the display model. Plus none of them look like they could successfully dribble a basketball without shanking it off a foot.
- maxerickson 4y agoThat's not what they say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29kWFrNWnyk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29kWFrNWnyk "The 3D printed ball is truly playable, nearly fitting the performance specifications of a regulation basketball, including its weight, size and rebound (bounce)."
- 2muchcoffeeman 4y agoThe article doesn’t appear to link to the promo ad. showing a player dribbling the ball. We use 3D printed parts in aerospace. There is no reason to think this doesn’t work.
- sohkamyung 4y agoIt does. The caption for the top image, "Gif: YouTube - Wilson Basketball" links to the video.
- carabiner 4y agoVideo showing it being bounced and dunked: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC02e5dcvZw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC02e5dcvZw
- chrisco255 4y agoWould be nice to just watch a clip of people playing a pickup game with the ball rather than the hype vids. More hoops less hoopla.
