The best thing I did was to move all my plugins from $HOME/.vim/vundle/ folder inside $HOME/.vim/pack/plugins/start/ and works just fine; of course, I will need to keep an eye on updates myself, but that's not a big deal. Therefore I won't be dependent on plugins such as Vundle.vim, vim-plug, and the like; enough is enough!
