If you aren't using your leisure time now for "self-directed" employment, I doubt you'd use those hours.

  I do, although not all the time - I'm taking a break at the moment by going down to just my day job. I was getting rather close to burn out working 12+ hour days a few months ago (day job + consulting on the side).
