There has to be a contradiction somewhere between "proud of their transgressive behaviour" and "build entire cultures". Well then the behaviours musn't be transgressive within those cultures, for if they transgressed cultural rule including their own how can they have a culture at all? They aren't going up to each other and being as obnoxious and loathsome the same way they go up to everyone else. That's the only way to make sense
