At some point the complexity of the prompts required to generate a program that meets a non-trivial specification become so complex as to be indistinguishable from a programming language.
- wvenable 4y agoThe only complete specification is one that can be compiled and executed. AI will take incomplete specifications and guess the rest -- just like humans do. Whether or not it makes those guesses better than a human remains to be seen.
