Τhe Harry Potter video game became a question of morality
- foxyv 4y agoIt's always tempting. To make the easy buy. Just one more Hershey's bar even though I know it's made with slave labor. The cheap flagship Huawei phone that will probably violate my privacy. The Apple/Samsung device that is eroding right to repair. It's hard to not just consume mindlessly. It's too hard to keep track of all the evil that companies perpetuate. How much of it is propaganda? How much does it really matter? What difference will it make? I understand why people would play a game created by a monster. I read all the books before I knew. I loved the characters. The movies. But now it's all tainted like a Hershey bar made by a child slave. It would be so easy to go back to sleep and just... consume.
