Do Google and Microsoft include copyright comments at the top of the source files?
I always thought those header comments were annoying. Do they really provide some kind of additional legal protection?
- rwmj 4y agoIn the US, if the file has a clear copyright notice then the infringer loses the possible defense of "innocent infringement". So yes there is additional legal protection.
