The same for me. I love Rhino, and Rhino8 will have RhinoCode that I can use with F# instead of C# or Python. I was one of about 50 to 100 people who gave money back in early 2000s to take Blender opensource, and I used it to create wood carvings from photos using a shape-from-shading algorithm originally developed by NASA(?) to extract more information from single-lens, greyscale satelite imagery. I also used it to create other useful tools for myself. I am glad to see this CAD Sketcher developed, but as a long-time CAD user, I don't think it will reach critical mass or technical ability to compete with things like Fusion 360 ($400/year) but it includes so much - simulation, FEA, rendering, and a bunch of other goodies in a focused, minimal gui.
