- uejfiweun 4y agoThat being said, I have read a lot of things online that seem to suggest you may want to lower that target to 3.5% or 3% depending on your timeframe, such as for early retirement. So you'd actually need between $3M - $4M if you're a typical tech worker who likely makes a lot early on and then faces ageism by what's typically mid-career age for others.
