I've seen crypto/trading scams as the top comment on every single CNBC clip I watch. It follows the same pattern you describe with a vague opener that almost sounds legitimate (but not quite) and then the spam following in response. It's so reliable on CNBC clips that I almost think those videos comment sections could be used as a training set for spam prevention.
