FWIW, Peter Naur (N of BNF) said CS ought have been named Datalogy.

- LeanderK 4y agoIn Germany it's called "Informatics" (Informatik in german). I would have loved a name without computer in it, to set it more apart from things like computer/software engineering.
- tolleydbg 4y agoI was always partial to how many universities in the UK call it "computing"
