Outside the US, I've seen companies with a diverse work force implement "english only" policies in the office.
- JenrHywy 4y agoThat's the policy where I am, for any work-related conversations. Private conversations obviously are different.
- midoridensha 4y agoMaybe that's considered "racist" in the US or something.
- 0xB31B1B 4y agoIt’s not that it’s racist to bring it up, it’s that if your an IC eng experiencing this your manager, skip level and 2x skip are likely in on the whole race based fiefdom thing and the next person to talk to is a senior director/VP who is a very important person that you rarely see and never talk with.
