Quite right. That earlier rant about the moral superiority of piracy was just embarrassing. Nobody who produces anything of value needs to be told that they should be giving it away for free. They can choose to give it away, but being required to do so is another matter entirely. If everybody who believes that copyright is completely unnecessary were to die today, the total amount of useful, worthwhile art produced by the world would not decrease.
