Which is strange considering TLA isn't an acronym.
- cauthon 4y agoI'm assuming you're being pedantic about the acronym/initialism distinction, but initialisms are commonly understood to be a subset of acronyms rather than a complementary set [1,2]. i.e., TLA is an acronym [1] https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/acronym https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/acronym [2] https://www.oed.com/view/Entry/1844 https://www.oed.com/view/Entry/1844
