For education of present young people, the core need is to give them what will help them for the next 60 years. We can be fairly sure that one important theme for the next 60 years will be the economy. The economy has two important sides: The producers and the consumers. The producers need to generate products/services that please the consumers. So we see two goals for education: (1) Understand people, the consumers, how to please them. (2) Understand automation, for the lower costs of high quality production of products/services. So, net, understand people and automation.
