- lmz 4y agoIt's not a "review", more like an architectural look back? RDNA3 is here https://chipsandcheese.com/2023/01/07/microbenchmarking-amds-rdna-3-graphics-architecture/ https://chipsandcheese.com/2023/01/07/microbenchmarking-amds...
- speps 4y agoRDNA2 is still used on PS5 and Xbox Series X, so it's still very relevant.
- agloe_dreams 4y agoAnd Steamdeck too. It is fascinating.
- captainbland 4y agoAnd it's still their most recent architecture at every price point under $800 so I'd say it's still fairly relevant on the desktop as well.
- hajile 4y agoInterested in a GPU under $800, then RDNA2 is the latest and greatest. Interested in the newest available mobile chips? RDNA2 is the latest and greatest. Steamdeck? Game console? It's the most recent there too. That said, they've recently released architecture articles about stuff like core from 15 years ago. It's not always about grinding out articles on the latest stuff.
