Ask HN: Which low cost laptop is best suited for iOS and Android development?
I want to develop mobile games and AR/VR applications for both iOS and Android mobile phones. Which low-cost laptop would you recommend?
- andrewfromx 4y agoyou can't run xcode on anything but a mac! So the choice is easy: MacBook Air M2 with 16GB memory.
- _448 4y agoWill MacBook Air M1 with 8GB RAM and 256GB SDD work?
- andrewfromx 4y agonot really, with just 8GB everything will be very slow. You might get by but 16 is really needed.
