I suppose the desire for the luxury available to the *illionaire is not combined with the feeling that it should not be made available to others. It is combined with the knowledge that this earth cannot support billions at that level of luxury. And if the population is reduced to a quantity that the earth would support at that level, they'd want it to be made up of people they feel like hanging out with. That ia the population they want the machines to support. Everyone else should be shot into space.
