People like clean cockpits, and threading cables and wires through the headset is a PITA if you ever need to adjust the stem, handlebars, fork, etc.

- latchkey 4y agoThat's exactly it. I have two "cables" on my bike now and that is it... for the disc brakes. It is super clean and simple. The batteries in the levers last a long time since they are just used for a button press. They are worth it. Never had an issue with signal or shifting.
