Printed books are not going extinct. Only publisher and most book store are. Printed books will become a small percentage of all books, but they will be around for a very long time, even if they mostly become vanity items. I prefer the tactile experience of paper books, you may call that vanity, I just call it my preference, not worse than anyone's brand preference.
